Art object or utilitarian objects in earthenware, porcelain, stoneware, in mixed clay or in terra sigillata, fired with wood or gas, with the raku or anagama technic, enamelled or raw, smoothed or textured, this is in the ceramic market of Bussière-Badil that you will be able to find them!
44 exhibitors propose to meet in order to present their items, a moment of sharing in a convivial atmosphere!
This long week-end will be marked also by demonstrations, movies projections and workshops for children, for the enjoyment of adults and children.
The public will also be able to discover an unseen exhibition of works from the museum Bernard Palissy exhibited from 10 am to 7 pm in the church of Bussière-Badil.

Demonstrations of throwing with Jean-François Thiérion
Jean-François Thiérion will propose demonstrations of throwing during the all week-end. He will show how he throws some of his works but will also sets himself a challenge by realising a monumental item during these 4 days.
He forecasts to realise a big vase in 5 parts. During the market, there will be the following steps: preparation of clay, throwing of sections and drying, the assembly, the remake of the form, the throwing of the form, the throwing of the following section, the filling…
Fire performance with Arnauld Le Calvé
Glass blower and ceramist, Arnauld Le Calvé accompanied by the glass-maker Thibaut Nussbaumer and the musician Jozef will play with fire in a hot and musical atmosphere.
On Saturday May 28th 2022 they will realise a 60 cm high character in stoneware and glass. In order to do so, they will use the kilns settled in the fields near the stands to a temperature of 1150°C and will start to throw very early micro pieces of glass that will melt slowly in the melting pot.
